Robert Thorneycroft
Senior Partner
Founder of the firm in 1990, and now Senior Partner, Robert specialises in property and personal injury related matters.
Robert qualified at Chester Law College and was admitted as a solicitor in 1982. Robert's five children ensure that he has a busy life away from work, particularly through his involvement in local junior sport, which involves roles at Macclesfield Rugby Club and Prestbury Cricket Club.
He is currently chairman of the Kings School Macclesfield Former Pupils.

Rachel L Stow
Partner
Rachel has been with Thorneycrofts since 1994, having previously trained with a Lincoln based firm of Solicitors.
In addition to her role as a solicitor, Rachel is also our Compliance Officer, as well as being responsible for the management of the firm, including all areas of HR.
When not at work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her two children, as well as training at the gym.

Michael J Coghlan
Partner
Michael qualified in 1993, and joined Thorneycrofts in 1996, becoming a Partner in 1998, specialising in Personal Injury litigation. He is still a full time fee-earner, in addition to providing a second opinion upon the more complex cases within the firm when required, and helping to formulate the policy adopted by the firm, namely to maintain the high standards set to date, and avoid "dumbing down," as many other firms have done.
Michael is married, and he and his wife Louise have a daughter called Emma. When he is not spending time with the girls, he likes to play golf and football when possible, as well as the odd game of squash.

Sharon Farrow
Associate Solicitor
Based in Thorneycrofts Holmes Chapel offices, Sharon has been with the firm for two years. Having studied at Westminster University, Sharon has gained vast legal experience, including several years with a Staffordshire-based firm.
In addition to being a Manchester United supporter, Sharon enjoys travelling and skiing.
